Privacy-First Architecture: FitWardrobe is built with a local-first approach. Your wardrobe data, including images and outfit combinations, is stored exclusively on your device. We do NOT upload, store, or access your wardrobe content on our servers.

We use the limited personal data we collect for the following purposes:

  1. Authentication and Account Management: Your email address is used solely to create and manage your account via Supabase authentication.
  2. AI-Powered Features:
    • When you use AI clothing analysis, your images are sent temporarily to Google Gemini 2.0 Flash API for processing.
    • When you request outfit suggestions, the wardrobe text data is processed by Groq to generate recommendations.
    • Images and text are NOT stored by Google, Groq, or FitWardrobe after processing (per standard API terms).
    • AI-generated tags and descriptions are returned to your device and stored locally.
  3. Product Improvement: Anonymous usage analytics help us understand feature adoption and improve the app
  4. Communication: We may send important service updates, security alerts, or beta program announcements to your email (you can opt out of non-critical emails)
  5. Legal Compliance: We may process data to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities
